Meet Jack the owner and the lead black and grey artists at Lucky 13. His journey started out slightly unconventionally, which sums up our Jack to a tee! This guy is self taught, and so with no help he managed to walk straight in to a tattooist position at a busy studio in Loughborough. 

After a few years he started collecting tattoos from other studios which led him straight to Lucky 13. At the time, the owner was looking to sell the business and this is where Jack's real journey truly began.

Jack's main love is black and grey realism, his waiting list is a reflection of his popularity. Many of his clients would simply say 'he's worth the wait'. With that having been said, he is forever trying to squeeze extra hours in to his already busy schedule to get people in sooner. A definite people pleaser, Jack will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and more importantly give you a great tattoo.

Introducing our amazing Studio Manager and heart of Lucky 13; Jay (aka Jayluv). Jay has always had a passion for art and design and with her awesome drawing and creative skills, it was inevitable her attention would turn to tattoo design. Jay left her previous career as a DJ to pursue this dream, joining the original Lucky 13 as an apprentice, becoming a full time Tattoo Artist in 2012.

Jay is fully versed in all styles of tattooing, she likes to put her unique touch in every one of her designs that are full of character. From quirky neo-traditional designs through to large scale dot work mandalas, Jay's work is truly unique. So if you're looking for something a little different, drop her a message with your ideas and get the ball rolling!

Jenna specialises in black and grey realism but is also our resident Disnerd and loves creating Disney ink designs. She once worked in the skies as an air hostess but has followed her calling and has her feet firmly planted on the ground with her tattoo family at Lucky 13. Jen has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a pencil and has now taken the tattoo industry by storm! Her porfolio includes traditional, neo trad, mandala's and much, much more.

Deb previously worked as a graphic designer for over 20 years. With a long-standing background in art and design, becoming a tattoo artist was a lifelong dream. Deb is well known amongst tattoo artists for her beautiful delicate linework stills, her floral creations and her gorgeous winged insects. Her intricate, detailed designs are simply breath-taking. Predominately a black and grey artist, Deb also loves to combine her linework and colour skills to create bespoke neo traditional pieces. What's more, as a vegan herself, Deb is 100% committed to using all vegan products including vegan tattoo inks to create her awesome tattoos. If you are a kindred spirit, look no further than our super talented Deb.

Kirbie has always showed her creative side also enjoying photography, crafts and taxidermy. As a long established tattoo artist Kirbie takes inspiration from all things strange, creepy and unusual. Kirbie has a love of intricate designs that range from beautiful bejewelled creations to hyper detailed animals, beautiful bold florals to horror based creatures. Kirbie specialises in black work and stipple shading but is a true whizz when it comes to colour.

Alice is the newest member of our family having joined us as an apprentice back in January 2022. Alice comes from a graphic design background and has a keen creative eye. Alice is currently exploring different styles and techniques under the expert guidance of Jack and Jay, and is loving every second of it!

We are delighted to have Alice at Lucky 13, her tattooing skills are coming on thick and fast and we are sure you will love her creations as much as we do. Alice already has lots of custom designs under her belt including plenty of flash pieces used on our infamous flash days!
